With the main event only around the corner and the whisper of opportunity in the air, that old saying "a time and a place for everything" comes to mind!

And the reason for this is the time is now, and the place is here, at the WSOP main event.

That's right my friends, the train is that of the momentum of which I hope to have heading into this Monster event.

Yes sir - soon a prayer might well be answered (just ask Jerry Yang) and a dream might well come true for some lucky individual. But who? Who could it be? Who will it be? Surely, no-one person can possibly want it more than another, and in terms of whose most entitled to it?, well, that also has to be up for grabs as almost everyone will lay claim to that.

Still though, someone's life will certainly change as their name will forever be linked to the World Series of Poker. Think about it, Every time that person walks through a poker room heads will turn, and people will point and say "There goes the 2008 wsop main event champion".

Fingers crossed my friends and hopefully we'll break good and give ourselves a chance to play the game that we know we can. Yep - I can't wait.

The Jury is still out though as to the number of entrants for it, I'm going to say that they will have about the same as last year, about 6,500. This would be a great number.
I think it would also tell us that the game of poker is as strong as ever. Well - we'll have to wait and see!

Anyway with that in mind folks - I'm getting tired and am starting to drool over my laptop (not good).
