Michael DeMichele first burst onto the poker scene in 2006 at the televised U.S. Poker Championship. His hyper-aggression and poker instinct took him to a third-place finish in this event for a more than $215,000 payday in his first major tournament cash. He would follow it with two World Series of Poker cashes in 2007, both in non-no-limit hold'em events. Then, in 2008, DeMichele was back at more final tables. In the first-ever $10,000 buy-in WSOP world championship mixed event, he placed fourth for almost $140,000. DeMichele then came in second place in the $50,000 world championship H.O.R.S.E. event for more than $1.2 million. He says he's honed in on his mixed game experience in high-stakes cash games. With his extraordinary talent for all forms of poker, it is likely that DeMichele will continue playing on poker's biggest stages.
