Matthew Glantz is a former options trader who specializes in high-limit cash games. He has been cashing in major poker tournaments since 2000. He came close to winning a World Series of Poker bracelet in the 2005 $3,000 no-limit hold'em tournament, in which he placed second for almost $365,000. At the 2008 WSOP, Glantz came out of his hold'em shell. Up until the start of the Series, all but one of his cashes were in no-limit or limit hold'em. Then, he made the final tables of both the $10,000 world championship mixed event and the $50,000 world championship H.O.R.S.E. event, placing in third and fourth, respectively.
