This former high-school all-league quarterback and MVP basketball guard has always had an urge to compete. So, it is no wonder that Erick Lindgren is competing with the best of the best in poker.

He has won more than $5 million in tournaments, including his 2007 Aussie Millions win for $800,000 in a prestigious $100,000 buy-in event. Lindgren also took home a $1 million prize when he won the 2004 PartyPoker Million III limit hold'em championship. At the 2008 World Series of Poker, Lindgren won his first bracelet in the $5,000 buy-in mixed hold'em event. He followed that with an appearance at the $50,000 H.O.R.S.E. final table. Lindgren finished third for over $781,000.
