The £500 + £50 buy-in main event at the Gala Casinos British Poker Tour gets underway today. The event £5,000 added by the Last year's British Poker Tour Bristol champion Joe Beevers sponsor. In addition to cash payouts, top placed finishers also receive:

First: VIP Package to 2008 GCBPT grand final (expenses to cover travel & accommodation)
Second/Third: Liverpool GCBPT festival main event seat (£500 + £50)
Fourth/Fifth: free entry into the $150,000 guaranteed 'Big Deal' tournament on galapoker.co.uk
